Some hiring tips...
If you've got money to hire someone, please ONLY post in the forum titled "Real Jobs for $$$". Don't post elsewhere or it'll be assumed you really don't have money to pay someone. We do have a separate forum for those of you posting up jobs "on spec" and the promise of future glory. But remember, job posters, you get what you pay for. Nothing equals nothing.
And for those of you looking to hire someone for a freelance project, it is common for a designer to ask for 1/3 or 1/2 the price upfront, then the rest when a job finishes. There are plenty of boilerplate work contracts available on the net. Its obviously suggested the designer and hirer sign off on one before money changes hands.

Spec Jobs - Zero Pay
If you just have a great idea, and want someone to work for free on it, this forum is the place to throw that out there. Keep in mind, we do have some students starting off in their design careers that might be willing to do some professional looking work just to booster their portfolios. |
