> Note about this forum...

This forum is for questions related to hosting / or initial site setup. Keep in mind, most people have different hosting plans, so questions specifically about a certain host probably aren't going to get answered correctly here unless another user has that same host. Your best bet is emailing your hosts support staff if you really have a problem.

Also CartoonSmart has long recommended 1and1.com for hosting. They offer an excellent cheap plan (usually about $10 a month) called the 1&1 Business Package. This link should take you there... 1&1 Business Plan . The main reason we recommend this plan is because our database tutorials are all tested using this same plan. So anything taught in the MySql part of the site will work smoothly on that plan.

Okay ... it goes like this. I built a site in flash for a client. They want to update certain elements of it everyday, however, they don't know flash. Updating it

at the times they want isn't always convenient for them. So what i did was a redo in dreamweaver with flash elements. Now, when i go to test it in IE or FF on

another computer the whole site seems blown out of size or proportion. Any guess why? huh.gif

is the resolution of your screen different to the others you tested on .. if so , relative-ize your site by making all mesaurements in % , so the site will change dependant on screen size

Its the container, you blown it. You messed up the CSS container. Check your CSS layout script. If you have the original - copy and paste it back to the server. It should not matter if you doctored the flash element, changed it enlarged it or etc. The container should accomodate it.
